Free Bunny Coloring Page from Melissa Dawn Art & Home
It’s hard to believe Easter is only a few days away! Easter is my favorite holiday after Christmas. Despite doing some decorating for it, this year it just doesn’t feel like it should be Easter already. I was hoping some bunny coloring pages would help with that π This shelter-in-place is so important and I’m grateful so many people are taking are taking it seriously. It has definitely changed the course of everyone’s spring! I’m quite attached to all my bunny figurines, so I am just going to call them spring decorations and leave them out a while longer π
Spring is a wonderful time to celebrate possibilities, try new things, and appreciate the beauty in nature as everything sprouts and blossoms. I love doing activities with the boys that celebrate this season! We’ve done outdoor scavenger hunts, planted corn, and made leaf rubbings. I’m still planning to dye and decorate eggs with them this weekend. I also have it on good authority that the Easter Bunny will do a backyard Easter egg hunt and Easter baskets π We usually do a wide range of holiday crafts from Michaels or Hobby Lobby. Since that hasn’t been an option this time I’ve been doing some crafts from Pinterest. I also made some printables for them to color too.

In that spirit, I decided to make one of my paintings available as a coloring page on here, so you would have something cheerful to color this weekend too! I originally painted “Fragile Spring” back in 2010- I can’t believe it’s been a whole decade since then. It definitely doesn’t feel like it! The model for the painting was my bunny named Tinkerbell. She was a beautiful lionhead-dwarf hotot mix we adopted from the animal shelter as a companion for our other bunny.

I hope you enjoy coloring Fragile Spring, and have a wonderful Easter weekend, however different it is this year! I had a lot of fun making bunny coloring pages, so one of my goals this year is to publish a coloring book with both past and new paintings. If you color Fragile Spring, I would absolutely love to see it! Please send me a picture π If you’re looking for more spring crafts to do, I hope you’ll check out my last post, which has a fun and easy method of creating beautiful speckled eggs.
